Jordan Kerben, LAMFT

Jordan Kerben is a master’s level Marriage and Family Therapist. Jordan grew up in Orlando, Florida and attended Florida State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Child Sciences. She then earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Mercer University in Atlanta.

 

Jordan specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families using play therapy through a systemic lens. As a family therapist, Jordan believes that including the family and other systems in treatment will be most effective in resolving presenting problems. Jordan practices strengths-based therapy with a client-centered approach, believing that every individual has unique strengths that can be highlighted and utilized in therapy. She strives to provide a safe and comfortable environment where clients can feel comfortable expressing themselves.

 

Jordan has experience with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. She has worked with children as young as 2 years old. Jordan has worked in a CORE agency setting as an outpatient play therapist. Additionally, she has experience working in the expressive therapy department of Crescent Pines Hospital running groups with children, adolescent, and adult in-patient units.

 

Jordan is currently working towards becoming a registered play therapist. Jordan is certified in Gottman Method Couples Therapy Levels 1 and 2. When not practicing therapy, Jordan enjoys traveling, going to a yoga or spin class, hiking, and playing with her cat, Bella. Jordan is under the direction and supervision of PATC’s owner, Dr. Megan McSwain Mann.
