Dianna Briggs, LCSW

Dianna Briggs is a licensed clinical social worker who is passionate about working with children and adolescents. She specializes in play therapy which is an effective treatment method that allows children to communicate and process through complex emotions in age-appropriate ways. A collaborative and family systems approach allows Dianna to better understand her clients and their presenting problems within their own worldview. By creating a safe, non-judgmental environment for her clients, Dianna is able to build rapport and encourage clients to open up about their complex issues. Empowering and educating clients is a crucial aspect to creating positive change and promoting progress. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults living with stress and mood disorders and life adjustment issues.  Dianna has also worked with marginalized individuals struggling with issues such as psychosis and poverty. Dianna received her Bachelor of Science degree and her Masters Degree from the University of Georgia. Her work experiences include the Boys and Girls Club, Gentiva Hospice, Marcus Autism Center, Peachford Hospital, and several private agencies.
